Bloomsbury Flowers | Easter 2022
Bloomsbury Flowers was opened in 1994 by former Royal Ballet dancers, Stephen Wicks and Mark Welford, and quickly became synonymous with beautiful flowers, arranged beautifully.

Easter 2022

Easter 2022

Now that spring is officially here, it felt time for another update on life here at Bloomsbury Flowers.  It’s been a busy start to the year so far with March really kicking off once the restrictions on You Know What were lifted!  Covent Garden is starting to buzz again and even with many people adapting to a hybrid way of working, it’s so good to have many of our regular customers who are office-based back in the shop again.

Events have kicked off too and wedding season is starting with lots of bookings and enquiries already in the diary.  We had a great time installing the flowers for the opening of the new global headquarters for the Royal Academy of Dance and the ceremony was attended by HRH The Duchess of Cornwall.

There is a standing joke in the shop about customers asking for peonies during every month of the year despite the peony season being quite short, much like the season for English asparagus, but these gorgeous blooms should start to appear in our shop towards the end of this month or early May so do look out for them and make the most of their short season.  We certainly will!!!

We will be closing over Easter so if you need flowers for the weekend we are open for collection or delivery until 5.30pm 14th April and then we will reopen at 9.00am 19th April.  Even a small jam jar of flowers will lift your Easter table so do pop in to take a look around as well as being inspired in the virtual world of our social channels.

Enjoy the long weekend everyone!
