Bloomsbury Flowers in San Francisco

Travelling was one of the things we both loved about our previous lives as dancers with the Royal Ballet companies and amongst the many countries around the world we visited, we toured the USA a number of times.  So we’re thrilled and honoured to have been invited to take part in this year’s ‘Bouquets to Art’ at the De Young Museum in San Francisco.

We will be spending almost a week in San Francisco with a packed itinerary which includes trips to the local Flower Market to stock up on flowers, foliage and plants for our demonstration March 15th as well as attending a performance by the San Francisco Ballet March 12th and of course, smartening ourselves up for the Gala opening of the event March 13th.

Many of the designs we plan to do at the lecture will be taken from and inspired by our book ‘Simple Flower Arranging‘.  There will even be a chance for 4 lucky audience members to join us on stage to make their own bouquet!  Of course there will be an opportunity to buy signed copies of both our books at the museum book store as the organisers have arranged a book signing with us after our demonstration.

Do follow this link for more information about ‘Bouquets to Art’ and we hope to meet lots of you after the demonstration.
